I am an Assistant Professor at Melikşah University, Computer Engineering Department, Kayseri, Turkey.

I got my B.S. degree from Bilkent University in Computer Engineering in 2004, and PhD degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute

in Computer Science in Dec 2009. My advisor was Malik Magdon-Ismail. I have been a faculty member at Meliksah University since April 2010. Meanwhile, I served in the Turkish Armed Forces between August 2010 and February 2011.

Research Interests:

Currently, I am interested in approximation algorithms, sparse approximation and hardness of approximations.
